Unlike Chapters in other countries who make use of the ensigns or banners of all twelve Tribes of Israel, North American chapters primarily use only those of the four tribes who were in charge of the coordinate camps around the Tabernacle: Dan, Reuben, Ephraim, and Judah. In the United States, the ensigns and their adjacent veils are color-coded as shown below.
